She earned the California Supreme Court Certification as a Criminal Law Specialist from 1992-1998 for her extensive experience and success in her practice there. Choose An Experienced Litigator

Throughout her career, Susan has used her legal skills and experience to advocate for and educate her community, offering her pro bono services to high school trial moot court teams, teaching students the art of conducting a jury trial, advocating and litigating for several local animal rescues including Molly’s Place, Animal House, and CHAR, and co-founding the Chloramine Information Center to fight for clean and safe water. Since 2009, Susan organized and assisted communities in areas from Florida to Virginia in the fight to keep ammonia out of our drinking water. Coordinating with Erin Brockovich’s water expert Robert Bowcock, the effort successfully put a stop to chloramine in numerous communities with municipally-run water companies. Susan believes strongly in giving back to the community and will continue to do so as your District Magistrate if she is privileged to be elected.
Borough office
While in law school, Susan was the director of the Public Interest Advocates. In that role, she developed a landlord/tenant mediation program aimed at resolving issues prior to court involvement. As Magisterial District Justice for the tri-borough area, Susan hopes to bring the spirit of mediation and compromise to the civil issues that find their way to the court to reduce the need to engage in expensive and unnecessary litigation at the overcrowded county court.

Susan lives in Camp Hill where she raised her two children who are currently in college studying Entertainment Design and Pre-veterinary Animal Sciences. While her children are at college, she lives with her two canine children, Max and Riley, plus Holly the cat (all rescues).  Tinker the fire-dog lives with Nana.
